Dear Valued Customers, The Wine making season has arrived and we look forward to seeing all of you! Temperatures in California have been cooler than in previous years delaying the harvest approximately two weeks although some early varieties are being picked for the wineries next week such as Chardonnay. Storm Hillary did not have any impact on the grapes in the regions we pick ours and the grapes look very nice. It is essential for you to place your orders early, so we can secure your grapes or juices early this year because the industry has changed immencely. We expect to start the season by 10th of September, with the first arrival of grapes being from Lodi. The grapes will contain excellent Sugar levels for winemaking due to the cooler temperature. Grapes from the Amador region and Shenandoah Valley are expected to arrive at the end of September, and will only be sold on a pre-order basis. As always we will be offering de-stemming and pressing services on premise, with our world-class machinery. Thank you for your patronage.
This year we are introducing Montepulciano and Sangrantino Grapes which are Italian varietals that make delicious wines. Don’t wait, call us early and take advantage of our high-quality grapes that are picked to order.
